Professional Endorsements

I have known Amanda Grace on a professional level for 10 years. During this time not only have we shared patients but countless conversations about counseling, therapeutic interventions, and the evolution of mental health. On the occasions we have shared patients, I have found her work to be an integral part of their success in my office. She has an incredibly large skill set and many years of experience. I have found her to be very professional and an absolute joy to work with. And, with that, I could, and do, highly recommend her as a therapist. However, I would like to add a very important layer to this recommendation. When I am training new staff or entry level therapists, I very clearly emphasize the need for them to do their own therapy with my oft heard phrase “you can only take your patients as far as you have taken yourself”. And this is where I feel Amanda stands far above most other therapists. She does her work and as long as I have known her, she has never stopped. She is constantly working on herself. Leaning into dark corners and difficult places. She has worked harder on herself than almost any other professional I have known in my 30 years of practice. With that being said, Amanda can take just about any willing spirit, anywhere they want to go. And with that, I give Amanda the highest professional reference I can. I believe in her deeply. My only regret is that there aren’t more professionals like her. It is an absolute honor to count her amongst my trusted and most valued colleagues.
Amanda treats every client as though that person is her only client. She is easy to talk to and has a way of making you feel relieved that there is a solution. Her natural way of communicating is genuine to her personality. Her approach is to first understand the problem and then develop a plan with you to find practical ways to manage issues. At the end of a conversation with Amanda, you often feel energized and hopeful. When she is not with clients, she spends a lot of time researching and developing new methods to serve her clients. She is also very ethical and is honest if she feels a situation is beyond her expertise. She will help the client find an alternative. I have known Amanda over ten years both professionally and personally. I'm someone who is selective with relationships and so far, Amanda has been a keeper.
